This is your chance to join our team! We have two forensic interviewer openings at CALICO. One of the positions requires the candidate to be bilingual in English and Spanish, but the other is open to all. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the only children's advocacy center serving Alameda County. When you join CALICO, you become part of the team bringing justice and healing to abused children in our community.

Links to both job descriptions are below. To apply, send your resume and cover letter to careers@calicocenter.org. Come change children's lives for the better with us!

A friend of mine was actually thinking about filing a checkr lawsuit after they got denied for a job because of some incorrect info in their background check. The thing is, the mistakes on their report weren’t even minor — they were major errors that could’ve been easily corrected, but Checkr kept dragging their feet. They tried disputing it multiple times, but nothing changed. Eventually, they started looking into a lawsuit, and after talking to an attorney, they were able to get things sorted out. Sometimes it takes more than just a dispute to fix these issues. Has anyone else dealt with this? Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences with a checkr lawsuit.
